The Renault Koleos is an SUV (D-segment in Europe) manufactured by the French marque Renault. It has been produced since 2007 at the Korean subsidiary Renault Samsung Motors. In South Korea, this crossover is sold as “Samsung QM5“.

The platform on which it is manufactured is called Renault-Nissan Common Module Family (CMF-CD), which is the modular platform of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. On this same platform are produced the Renault Espace, the Kadjar, the Megane, the Scénic and some Nissan like the Qashqai, the X-Trail and the Pulsar.

The Renault Koleos compites with other vehicles such as the Ford Kuga, the Honda CR-V and the Peugeot 5008. There are two generations of this vehicle.
