About CITROEN C-CROSSER
The Citroen C-Crosser is a compact C-segment SUV manufactured by the French automaker PSA (Stellantis). For its construction, PSA collaborated with Mitsubishi due to its lack of experience with SUV vehicles. The C-Crosser, like its group sibling, the Peugeot 4007, uses the base of the Mitsubishi Outlander. Originally, this vehicle was going to be called the Citroën C7, but it was eventually given this name and went on sale in 2007. The vehicle was produced in a joint venture between PSA and Mitsubishi in Kaluga, Russia. There was only one generation, but it was sold in two different SUV body styles: a standard one and another prepared for cargo, called Enterprise.
The petrol engines of the C-Crosser were provided by the Japanese, while the diesel engines were supplied by PSA. The vehicle ceased production in 2012 with just over 2,000 units sold, giving way to the Citroën C4 Aircross.
