| Home / Toyota / Toyota Yaris List without Timing Belt

The Toyota Yaris is a subcompact car (B-segment in Europe) maunfactured by the Japanese marque Toyota. In North America, it was sold under the name Toyota Echo and Scion iA. It is recognised for its hatchback body, although a sedan version is available in some markets. Depending on the country and the bodywork, it is sold under many names: Yaris, Belta, Echo, Platz, Vios or Vitz. There are many aesthetic differences between those models.

The Toyota Yaris has traditionally been a minivan or hatchback size. There was a MPV version during the first generation called the Toyota Yaris Verso. Much later, in the fourth generation, there was a soprts version, the Toyota Gazoo Racing Yaris or GR Yaris. On the other hand, Toyota launched the Toyota Yaris Cross in 2021, a crossover based on the Yaris platform.

The Yaris is highly regarded by automobile experts and the general public. It stands out due to its mechanics’ quality and reliability, even in its hybrid versions, thanks to Toyota’s experience in developing this technology. The Yaris first version was recognized as Europe’s Car of The Year 2000. There have been four generations of this subcompact car. Some of its rivals on the market are the Peugeot 208, the Opel Corsa, the Renault Clio, the Volkswagen Polo, the Skoda Fabia, the Seat Ibiza and the Mazda 2.
